In Japan, my name was translated as "Song, Good, Blooming" by a teacher who was hosting me at age 17.
Since then, I had moved onto university where, in my homesickness, made my small shared dorm space my own Versailles.

Lux Carroll is an artist whose work and passion extends into music, filmmaking, photography, and branding. Her work focuses primarily on the experiences of young, maturing women and girls in slice of life situations conflicting with growing teen and womanhood. Through her work she explores memory, longing, grief, destruction, and the emotional maturity that comes with the growing pains of life.
With a passion for artistic collaboration, Lux strives to make filmmaking a safe space for everyone to work. She stresses the importance of
ensuring people have a voice and presence on set.
